What is this?

Action cards are the confirmation interface the AI uses when proposing changes to your data. Chat history lets you revisit past AI conversations. Together, these features give you control over AI actions and a record of every interaction.

Why is it useful?

Action cards ensure the AI never makes changes without your explicit approval. Chat history means you can pick up where you left off, reference past requests, and maintain continuity across coaching sessions without repeating yourself.

Step-by-Step Guide

Understanding Action Cards

When the AI proposes an action, it displays an action card with full details:

  1. The card shows exactly what will be created, assigned, or changed
  2. Review the content carefully
  3. Choose one of three options:
    • Confirm - Execute the action as shown
    • Edit - Modify the details before confirming
    • Dismiss - Cancel the action entirely

When Action Cards Appear

Action cards are shown for the following types of actions:

  • Creating workouts and sections
  • Assigning workouts to client calendars
  • Drafting messages to clients
  • Creating check-in templates and metrics
  • Adding goals and injuries to client profiles
  • Assigning metrics to clients

Read-only requests like "Show me Sarah's metrics" do not produce action cards since no data is being changed.

  1. Open the Assistant page from the sidebar
  2. The left sidebar shows all your past conversations
  3. Each chat has an AI-generated title summarizing the topic
  4. Click any previous chat to continue where you left off
  5. Click New to start a fresh conversation

Searching Past Conversations

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the chat sidebar
  2. Type keywords related to the conversation you are looking for
  3. Results filter in real time as you type
  4. Click a result to open that conversation

Deleting Conversations

  1. Hover over a conversation in the sidebar
  2. Click the trash icon to delete
  3. Deleted conversations cannot be recovered

Using the Side Panel (Web Only)

  1. Click the AI icon in the top navigation bar
  2. A chat panel opens on the right side of the screen
  3. The AI has context about the page you are currently viewing
  4. Ask questions related to what is on screen without leaving your current page
  5. Tool activity indicators show what data the AI is looking up in real time

Things to Note

  • Action cards require your confirmation before any changes are made
  • You can edit action card content before confirming
  • Chat history is saved automatically and persists across sessions
  • Chat history is tied to your user account and is private
  • The side panel provides contextual AI assistance without navigating away
  • Tool activity indicators show transparency into what data the AI accesses

FAQs

Can I undo an action after confirming?

Once confirmed, the action is executed. You would need to manually reverse the change, such as deleting a created workout or removing a goal.

Are my AI conversations visible to clients?

No. Your AI conversations are completely private and only visible to you.

Does the side panel share history with the main assistant page?

The side panel and the full assistant page share the same conversation history.

Can I continue a conversation from the side panel on the full page?

Yes. Conversations started in the side panel appear in your chat history and can be continued on the full Assistant page.
