Why is it useful?

Writing personalized messages to every client takes time, especially when you have a large roster. The AI drafts contextual messages quickly, saving you time while keeping communication personal. Since you review every message before it is sent, you stay in full control of what your clients receive.

Step-by-Step Guide

Drafting Messages

Ask the AI to write messages for specific clients:

  • "Draft a message to Sarah about her workout today" - Prepares a message based on recent workout data
  • "Write a check-in reminder for Jake" - Drafts a friendly reminder to complete a check-in
  • "Send an encouraging message to Sarah about hitting her PR" - Creates a motivational message using performance context

Reviewing and Sending

  1. The AI shows a draft message in an action card
  2. Read the message content carefully
  3. Click Confirm to send the message to the client
  4. Click Edit to modify the message before sending
  5. Click Dismiss to cancel without sending

All messages are drafts until you explicitly confirm. The AI never sends messages directly.

Types of Messages You Can Request

  • Workout feedback - Comment on completed sessions

  • All messages are drafts that require your confirmation before sending
  • The AI does not send messages to clients directly under any circumstance
  • Messages are sent through the Athli messaging system
  • The AI can also create check-in templates and assign metrics through action cards
  • You can ask the AI to adjust the tone (more formal, more casual, shorter, longer)
  • The AI uses available client data to add relevant context to messages

FAQs

Can the AI send messages without my approval?

No. Every message is presented as a draft in an action card. You must click Confirm to send it.

Can I edit the message before sending?

Yes. Click Edit on the action card to modify the message text before confirming.

Can the AI message multiple clients at once?

You can ask the AI to draft messages for multiple clients in the same conversation. Each message gets its own action card for individual review and confirmation.

Does the AI read my past messages with clients?

No. The AI does not have access to your message history. It drafts new messages based on client data and your instructions.

Can I ask the AI to write in a specific style?

Yes. Include style instructions in your request, such as "Write a casual and friendly message" or "Keep it short and professional."
