Check-ins

AndreiWritten by Andrei

What is this?

Check-ins are recurring forms that you assign to clients to collect regular feedback. Clients fill them out on a schedule (daily, weekly, etc.) and you can review their responses, track trends, and compare submissions over time.

Why it is useful

Regular check-ins keep you informed about how your clients are feeling, recovering, and progressing. Instead of relying on clients to message you updates, check-ins create a structured feedback loop that makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Use Cases

  • Weekly progress check-ins asking about training, nutrition, and recovery
  • Daily wellness check-ins tracking mood, sleep, and energy
  • Monthly body measurement submissions
  • Post-program feedback surveys

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Library > Forms > Check-ins
  2. Click Create Check-in
  3. Give it a name and description
  4. Add questions using different types:

    • Yes/No for simple binary questions
    • Multiple Choice for predefined options

Things to Note

  • Clients receive a notification when a check-in is due
  • You can edit check-in templates at any time, but changes do not affect already-submitted responses
  • Check-in data is visible to both coach and client
  • Automation flows can trigger actions based on missed check-ins

Common Problems

The client says they did not receive a check-in notification Check that push notifications are enabled on their device. Also verify the check-in frequency and start date.

I want to change the questions on a check-in that is already assigned Edit the template in the Library. New submissions will use the updated questions. Past submissions are not affected.
