What is this?
The Athletes page is where you manage all your coaching clients. You can view, search, filter, add, archive, and organize your entire client roster.
Why it is useful
As your coaching business grows, you need a central place to manage all your clients. The Athletes page gives you a bird's eye view of your roster and quick access to each client's profile, training, and progress.
Use Cases
- Viewing all your active clients at a glance
- Searching for a specific client by name
- Adding new clients individually or in bulk
- Archiving clients who are no longer active
- Restoring previously archived clients
Step-by-Step Guide
Viewing Your Client List
- Click Athletes in the sidebar
- You will see a list of all your active clients
- Each client card shows their name, profile picture, category, and status
- Use the search bar at the top to find specific clients

Adding a New Client
- Click the Add Client button in the top right
- Fill in the client's details (name, email, category)
- Optionally add goals, notes, and other information
- Click Send Invite
- The client receives an email invitation to join

Viewing a Client's Profile
- Click on any client from the list
- You land on their Overview page
- From here, navigate to different sections using the tabs:
- Overview - Bio, goals, injuries, recent workouts
- Training - Weekly calendar with assigned workouts
- Check-ins - Submitted check-in forms
- Habits - Assigned habits and completion logs
- Metrics - Custom tracked metrics with charts
- Photos - Progress photos with comparison
- Exercise History - Performance data per exercise
- Questionnaires - Completed questionnaire submissions
- Files - Shared documents and files
- Notes - Private coaching notes
- Settings - Client-specific settings

Editing Client Details
- Go to the client's profile
- Click the Edit button (pencil icon)
- Update their name, email, profile picture, category, or timezone
- Click Save

Archiving a Client
- Go to the client's profile
- Click Settings in the navigation tabs
- Click Archive Client
- Confirm the action
- The client will no longer appear in your active list and will lose app access

Restoring Archived Clients
- On the Athletes page, click the Restore button
- A panel shows all archived clients
- Select the client(s) you want to restore
- Click Restore
- They regain access to the app immediately

Uploading Clients via CSV
- Click the Upload button on the Athletes page
- Download the CSV template
- Fill in your client data (name, email, category)
- Upload the completed file
- Review and confirm the import

Client Profile Sections
Overview
The overview page shows a summary of the client including their bio, goals, injuries, and recent workout activity.
Training
A weekly calendar view where you can assign workouts, apply programs, and see completion status for each day.
Goals and Injuries
Track client goals (e.g., "Lose 5kg", "Run a marathon") and any injuries that affect their training.
Things to Note
- Archived clients do not count toward your plan's active client limit
- Each client needs a unique email address
- Changing a client's email will require them to verify the new address
- You can resend invite emails from the client's settings page if they did not receive the original
Common Problems
A client is not appearing in my list Check if they are archived. Also make sure they accepted the invite and created their account.
I accidentally archived a client You can restore them immediately from the Restore panel. Their data is preserved.
The CSV upload is failing Make sure your file matches the template format exactly. Check for extra columns, special characters, or encoding issues.
FAQs
How many clients can I have?
This depends on your plan. Check Settings > Billing for your current limit.
Can I organize clients into groups?
Client categories (Online, Hybrid, In Person) help you filter your roster. Custom groups are not available yet.
Can I see when a client was last active?
The client list shows activity indicators. You can also check the At-Risk section on your dashboard.
Can I transfer a client to another coach?
This is not currently supported. The client would need to be invited by the other coach separately.
