Creating Your Account

What is this?

This guide walks you through signing up for Athli and setting up your coach profile for the first time.

Why it matters

A complete profile helps your clients recognize you and builds trust. Your profile picture, name, and business details appear throughout the app when clients interact with your coaching.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Sign Up

  1. Go to the Athli website and click Get Started
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Check your inbox for a verification email
  4. Click the verification link to confirm your account

2. Complete Your Profile

After verifying your email, you will be taken to the onboarding flow:

  1. Enter your full name
  2. Upload a profile picture (recommended: square image, at least 200x200px)
  3. Select your coaching category (Online, Hybrid, or In Person)
  4. Set your timezone so scheduling works correctly

3. Set Up Your Business (Optional)

You can also configure your business details:

  1. Go to Settings > Business > Company Information
  2. Add your business name, logo, and description
  3. This information appears on your public coaching page and client-facing materials

4. Explore the Dashboard

Once setup is complete, you land on your Home Dashboard. From here you can:

  • See today's client workouts
  • View at-risk clients who may need attention
  • Check your to-do list
  • Access all features from the sidebar navigation

Things to Note

  • You can update your profile at any time from Settings > Account > Profile
  • Your email address is used for login and notifications. You can change it in Settings > Account > Security
  • If you signed up with Google, your profile picture is imported automatically

Common Problems

I did not receive the verification email Check your spam folder. If it is still missing, try signing up again or contact support.

I want to change my email address after signing up Go to Settings > Account > Security and update your email. You will need to verify the new address.

My profile picture is not uploading Make sure the image is under 5MB and in JPG or PNG format.


FAQs

Can I sign up with Google?

Yes. On the sign-up page, click the Google option to create your account using your Google credentials.

Can I have multiple coach accounts?

Each email address can only be linked to one account. If you need separate accounts, use different email addresses.

Is there a mobile app for coaches?

Yes. After creating your account on the web, you can download the Athli coach app and sign in with the same credentials.
