What is this?
Metrics are numerical values your coach asks you to track over time. Things like body weight, body fat percentage, waist measurement, or any custom data point your coach sets up. You log values regularly and the app shows your trend in a chart.
Why it is useful
Numbers do not lie. Tracking metrics gives you and your coach an objective view of your progress. Even when the mirror or the scale feels discouraging day to day, charts showing a 3-month trend tell a much more accurate story.
Step-by-Step Guide
Viewing Your Assigned Metrics
- Navigate to the Progress tab or your metrics section
- You see a list of all metrics your coach has assigned
- Each metric shows the latest value and when it was last logged

Logging Multiple Metrics
If your coach has assigned several metrics, you can log them one after another:
- Log the first metric and save
- Go back to the list and tap the next one
- Repeat until all are logged

Things to Note
- Log metrics at the same time of day for consistent data (e.g., body weight first thing in the morning)
- Your coach can see all your logged values and charts
- The more data points you log, the more useful the trend charts become
- One or two data points will not show a meaningful trend. Aim for at least a few weeks of data
Common Problems
My chart is not showing a trend line You need at least two data points to see a trend. Keep logging regularly.
I entered the wrong value Contact your coach to correct it. They can edit or delete log entries from their side.
I am not sure what unit to use Check the metric description set by your coach. It will specify if values should be in kg, lbs, cm, inches, etc.
FAQs
How often should I log my metrics?
Follow your coach's guidance. Common frequencies are daily (for weight) or weekly (for measurements).
Can I log a metric for a past date?
Yes. When logging a value, you can change the date before saving.
Can I see my starting value vs current value?
Yes. The chart shows your full history. Scroll to the beginning to see where you started.
What is the difference between metrics and habits?
Habits are binary (done or not done). Metrics are numbers that you track over time (like weight or measurements).
