Client App: Progress Photos

AndreiWritten by Andrei

What is this?

Progress photos let you take and upload photos on a regular basis to visually document your transformation. Your coach can view your photos and compare them across different dates.

Why it is useful

The scale does not always reflect reality. You might be building muscle while losing fat, which means the number stays the same but your body looks completely different. Progress photos capture changes that numbers miss and are one of the most motivating tools in your fitness journey.

Step-by-Step Guide

Taking a Progress Photo

  1. Navigate to the Progress Photos section
  2. Tap Take Photo or Add Photo
  3. Use your camera to take a new photo, or select one from your photo library
  4. The photo is saved and tagged with today's date
  5. Tap Save

  1. Go to the Progress Photos section
  2. You see your photos organized by date
  3. Tap any date to view the photos from that day
  4. Swipe through multiple photos if you took more than one

Comparing Photos

  1. In the Progress Photos section, tap Compare
  2. Select two dates to compare side by side
  3. Your photos from each date appear next to each other
  4. This makes it easy to see visual changes over time

Tips for Better Progress Photos

  • Take photos at the same time of day (morning is best)
  • Use the same lighting and background each time
  • Wear the same or similar clothing
  • Take front, side, and back shots for a full picture
  • Stay consistent with your photo schedule (weekly or biweekly works well)

Things to Note

  • Your photos are private and only visible to you and your coach
  • Photos are stored securely in the cloud
  • Try to keep a consistent schedule for the most useful comparisons
  • Image files should be under 5MB

Common Problems

My photo is not uploading Check your internet connection and make sure the file is under 5MB. Try taking a new photo with the in-app camera.

I want to delete a photo Open the photo and look for the delete option. Be careful as this cannot be undone.

The comparison does not look right Make sure you are comparing photos taken in similar conditions (lighting, pose, clothing).
